92. The Chairs also recognize that States may choose not to take advantage of a simplified process but may wish instead to continue to submit reports in accordance with the reporting guidelines of each treaty body.

In line with its previous recommendations, the Committee strongly urges the Government of Solomon Islands to avail itself of the technical assistance offered under the advisory services and technical assistance programme of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, with the aim of drawing up and submitting as soon as possible a report drafted in accordance with the reporting guidelines.

505. The Committee recommends that the next periodic report of the State party be submitted in time for consideration by the Committee at its next session in March 1995 and be prepared in conformity with the reporting guidelines.
