The discussion session was facilitated by the co-chairs of the working group on compatibility and interoperability.
ويسّرت الرئاسة المشتركة للفريق العامل المعني بالتواؤم وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل جلسة المناقشات.

It was pointed out that international registries would require additional mechanisms to ensure transparency and neutrality in their operation, and that coordination and interoperability between national and international registries should be ensured to preserve legal certainty.
وذُكر أنَّ مرافق التسجيل الدولية سوف تتطلّب آليات إضافية لضمان الشفافية والحياد في تشغيلها، وأنه ينبغي ضمان التنسيق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل بين مرافق التسجيل الوطنية والدولية من أجل الحفاظ على التيقّن القانوني.

B. System-wide capacity and interoperability

It was noted that the Providers' Forum had been established to enhance the compatibility and interoperability of current and future global and regional satellite-based systems.
وقد لُوحظ أن منتدى مقدمي الخدمات أنشئ من أجل تعزيز التوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل للنظم الساتلية العالمية والاقليمية الآن وفي المستقبل.

A position paper was submitted to the Working Group on Compatibility and interoperability and the Working Group on Interaction with National and Regional Authorities and Relevant International Organizations.
وقد قُدمت ورقة مواقف في هذا الشأن الى الفريق العامل المعني بالتوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل والفريق العامل المعني بالتفاعل مع السلطات الوطنية والاقليمية والمنظمات الدولية المعنية.

It was noted that the Providers' Forum continued to make significant progress towards further elaboration and implementation of measures for compatibility and interoperability among global and regional space-based positioning, navigation and timing systems.
ولوحظ أن المنتدى قد واصل إحراز تقدّم كبير صوب إعداد وتنفيذ المزيد من التدابير المتعلقة بتحقيق التوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل بين النظم الفضائية العالمية والإقليمية لتحديد المواقع والملاحة والتوقيت.

Subsequent to discussion of the proposal, it was decided to further consider it within Working Group A on compatibility and interoperability.
ولاحقاً للمناقشات التي دارت حول ذلك المقترح، تقرّر أن يقوم الفريق العامل ألف المعني بالتوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل بالنظر فيه بصورة موسّعة.

A major outcome of the Second Meeting was the establishment of the Providers Forum, which was intended to enhance compatibility and interoperability among current and future system providers and to serve as a mechanism for continuing discussion on important issues addressed by ICG and requiring focused input from system providers.
وكان من النتائج الرئيسية للاجتماع الثاني إنشاء منتدى لمقدّمي الخدمات يهدف إلى تعزيز التواؤم وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل للنظم الحالية والمقبلة، ويشكّل آلية لمواصلة المناقشات بشأن المسائل الهامة التي تتطرّق إليها اللجنة وتتطلب من مقدّمي الخدمات إسهامات مركّزة.

The Workshop noted that national regulatory frameworks would have to take into consideration the developments relating to the use of GNSS with a view to supporting efforts aimed at increasing coordination and interoperability between the different systems.
41- ولاحظت حلقة العمل أن على الأطر التنظيمية الوطنية أن تأخذ بعين الاعتبار التطوّرات المتّصلة باستخدام النظام العالمي لسواتل الملاحة بغية دعم الجهود الهادفة إلى زيادة التنسيق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل بين الأنظمة المختلفة.

The ultimate goal of ICG is to achieve the compatibility and interoperability of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), thereby saving costs through international cooperation, and make positioning, navigation and timing available globally for the benefit of society, including by monitoring all aspects of the environment.
والهدفُ المتوخَّى في نهاية المطاف من هذه اللجنة الدولية هو تحقيقُ التوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل بين تلك النظم العالمية، مما يسمح بالاقتصاد في التكاليف من خلال التعاون الدولي، وإتاحة خدمات تحديد المواقع والملاحة والتوقيت لصالح المجتمع على الصعيد العالمي، بما في ذلك مراقبة كافة جوانب البيئة.

27. In addition, the Office for Outer Space Affairs organized an interim meeting of ICG Working Group A on Compatibility and interoperability in Vienna from 8 to 10 June 2011.

The focus of the ICG expert meeting was on identifying the needs of users and manufacturers of equipment with respect to the compatibility and interoperability of global systems, regional systems and space-based augmentations providing or planning to provide GNSS services.
26- وركّز اجتماع خبراء اللجنة الدولية على استبانة حاجات المستعملين وصانعي المعدات فيما يتعلق بالتواؤم وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل للنظم العالمية والنظم الإقليمية ونظم التعزيز الفضائية التي تقدّم خدمات النظم العالمية لسواتل الملاحة أو تخطط لتقديمها.

4. A major development at the Second Meeting was the establishment of the Providers' Forum to enhance compatibility and interoperability among current and future system providers, as a mechanism to continue discussions on important issues addressed by the Committee that require focused input from system providers.
4- ومن التطورات المهمة في الاجتماع الثاني انشاء منتدى لمقدمي الخدمات من أجل تعزيز التوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل للنظم الساتلية العالمية والاقليمية الآن وفي المستقبل وكآلية لمواصلة المناقشات بشأن القضايا المهمة التي تتصدى لها اللجنة والتي تتطلب من مقدمي الخدمات تقديم مساهمات جيدة التركيز.

At the first Meeting of the Committee, held in Vienna on 1 and 2 November 2006, and in response to an action recommended in the Committee's workplan, providers of global and regional navigation satellite systems proposed establishing an ad hoc providers' forum to enhance compatibility and interoperability among current and future systems.
35- في الاجتماع الأول للّجنة الذي انعقد في فيينا في 1 و2 تشرين الثاني/ نوفمبر 2006، واستجابة لاجراء موصى به في خطة عمل اللجنة، اقترح مقدمو خدمات النظم العالمية والاقليمية لسواتل الملاحة اقامة منتدى مخصص لمقدمي الخدمات من أجل تعزيز التوافق وقابلية التشغيل المتبادل للنظم الآن وفي المستقبل.
