28. In section VIII, paragraph 6, of its resolution 53/214, the Assembly approved pension scheme regulations for the judges of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

On the occasion of future periodic reviews of the conditions of service and the annual salary of the members of the Court and the judges of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, adjustments to salary could take into account movements in the cost of living in the Netherlands.
