A joint meeting was again held with chairpersons of the human rights treaty bodies, which discussed the status of implementation of recommendations by special procedures, and the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.
وقد عُقد ثانية اجتماع مشترك مع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات، نوقشت فيه حالة تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن المقررين الخاصين، ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وتنفيذ إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان.

Item 4. Report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and followup to the World Conference on Human Rights

The Committee requested information on the functions of the post and follow-up to the Global Conference on the Sustainable Development of Small Island Developing States.
وطلبت اللجنة الحصول على معلومات بشأن مهام الوظيفة ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي المعني بالتنمية المستدامة للدول الجزرية الصغيرة النامية.

1. In its resolution 56/266, the General Assembly requested the High Commissioner for Human Rights to report annually on the implementation of and follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance to the General Assembly and the Commission on Human Rights.
1- طلبت الجمعية العامة في قرارها 56/266، من المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان أن يقدم إليها وإلى لجنة حقوق الإنسان تقريراً سنوياً عن تنفيذ ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكراهية الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب.

4. Takes note with appreciation of the work by the regional commissions to implement the World Programme of Action and to follow up the World Conference in their respective regions, in coordination with regional meetings of ministers responsible for youth and regional non-governmental youth organizations, and to provide advisory services to support national youth policies and programmes in each region, and encourages them to continue to do so;
4 - تحيط علما مع التقدير بالعمل الذي تضطلع به اللجان الإقليمية لتنفيذ برنامج العمل العالمي ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي في مناطقها الخاصة، بالتنسيق مع الاجتماعات الإقليمية للوزراء المسؤولين عن الشباب ومنظمات الشباب غير الحكومية الإقليمية، وتقديم خدمات استشارية لدعم سياسات وبرامج الشباب الوطنية في كل منطقة، وتشجعها على مواصلة القيام بذلك؛
