They condemned those activities and in this regard reiterated that the exploitation and plundering of the marine and other natural resources of colonial and Non-Self-Governing Territories by foreign economic interests in violation of the United Nations Charter and the relevant resolutions of the United Nations is a threat to the integrity and prosperity of those territories.
وفي هذا السياق، كرروا التأكيد على قيام المصالح الاقتصادية الأجنبية باستغلال ونهب الموارد البحرية وغيرها من الموارد الطبيعية للمستعمرات والأقاليم التي لا تتمتع بحكم ذاتي خارقةً بذلك ميثاق الأمم المتحدة وقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة، الأمر الذي يشكل تهديدا لسلامة هذه الأقاليم وازدهارها.

١١ - تكرر تأكيد أن استغلال ونهب الموارد البحرية وغيرها من الموارد الطبيعية لﻷقاليم المستعمرة وغير المتمتعة بالحكــم الذاتي من قبل المصالح الاقتصادية اﻷجنبية، بما يتعارض مع القرارات ذات الصلة لﻷمم المتحدة، يعتبران تهديدا خطيرا لسلامة هذه اﻷقاليم وازدهارها؛

(e) The threat posed to the integrity and prosperity of the Territories by the damaging exploitation and plundering of marine and other natural resources;
(هـ) ضرورة التصدي للخطر المحدق بسلامة الأقاليم وازدهارها من جراء استغلال ونهب الموارد البحرية وغيرها من الموارد الطبيعية وما يلحقه ذلك بها من أضرار؛

The facts and figures contained in the ESCWA report (A/59/89-E/2004/21) indicated the existence of a humanitarian catastrophe of which the entire world, and the United Nations in particular, should take note, particularly in view of the economic and social consequences of the Israeli practice of destroying and plundering resources and property.
وتبين الحقائق والأرقام الواردة في تقرير اللجنة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا (A/59/89-E/2004/21) وجود كارثة إنسانية ينبغي أن يأخذ علما بها العالم بأسره والأمم المتحدة على وجه الخصوص، وخاصة في ضوء المسائل الاقتصادية والاجتماعية للممارسة الإسرائيلية في تدمير ونهب الموارد والممتلكات.
