The Special Rapporteur is pleased that the Darfur Peace and Stability Fund includes support to the nomadic community and that a steering committee led by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is looking into how to improve engagement with nomadic groups and strengthen community dialogue; he encourages further efforts in this regard.
