Stresses the importance of strengthening and expanding the presence of the Mission and other United Nations agencies, funds and programmes in the provinces, and encourages the SecretaryGeneral to pursue current efforts to finalize the necessary arrangements to address the security issues associated with such strengthening and expansion;
6 - يؤكد أهمية تعزيز وتوسيع نطاق وجود البعثة وغيرها من وكالات الأمم المتحدة وصناديقها وبرامجها في المقاطعات، ويشجع الأمين العام على مواصلة الجهود التي يبذلها حاليا من أجل وضع الصيغة النهائية للترتيبات اللازمة لمعالجة المسائل الأمنية المرتبطة بتعزيز هذا الوجود وتوسيع نطاقه؛

12. Underlines that, in order to carry out their mandate, missions must communicate effectively with local communities, and encourages the SecretaryGeneral to improve their capacity to do so;
12 - يشدد على ضرورة أن تقيم البعثات، في الاضطلاع بولاياتها، الاتصالات مع المجتمعات المحلية على نحو فعال، ويشجع الأمين العام على تحسين قدراتها على القيام بذلك؛

10. Recognizes the important role of the good offices of the SecretaryGeneral in Africa, and encourages the SecretaryGeneral to continue to use mediation as often as possible to help to resolve conflicts peacefully, working in coordination and closely with the African Union and subregional organizations in that regard, as appropriate;
10 - يقر بالدور الهام للمساعي الحميدة التي يبذلها الأمين العام في أفريقيا، ويشجع الأمين العام على مواصلة استخدام الوساطة كلما أمكن للمساهمة في حل النـزاعات بالوسائل السلمية بالعمل عن كثب وبالتنسيق مع الاتحاد الأفريقي والمنظمات دون الإقليمية في ذلك الصدد متى استلزم الأمر ذلك؛
