1. Mr. Wenaweser (Liechtenstein) said that the statute for an international criminal court should be based on the principle of complementarity, since as a rule, criminal prosecution must remain under the competence of States.
١ - السيد ويناويزر )ليختنشتاين(: قال إن النظام اﻷساسي لمحكمة جنائية دولية يقوم على مبدأ التكامل، ﻷن الدعوى الجنائية كقاعدة عامة، يجب أن تبقى داخلة في إطار اختصاصات ومسؤوليات الدول.

Mr. Christian Wenaweser (Lichtenstein) as its Chairman.
وعملاً بقرار الجمعية العامة 59/47، أنشأت اللجنة فريق عمل لمواصلة عمل اللجنة المخصصة المعنية بنطاق الحماية القانونية بموجب الاتفاقية المتعلقة بسلامة موظفي الأمم المتحدة والأفراد المرتبطين بها، وانتخبت سعادة السيد كريستيان ويناويزر (ليختنشتاين) رئيسا لها.

27. Mr. Wenaweser (Liechtenstein), noting that violence against women was an important element in Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) on women and peace and security, asked whether the Special Rapporteur had sufficient access to the Council to keep women's issues in the forefront.
