يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما قد يلزم من تدابير، في حدود الوسائل المتاحة، لضمان ما يلي:

1. each State Party shall take appropriate measures within its means to provide assistance and protection to victims of offences covered by this Convention, in particular in cases of threat of retaliation or intimidation.
1- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير ملائمة في حدود امكانياتها لتوفير المساعدة والحماية لضحايا الجرائم المشمولة بهذه الاتفاقية، خصوصا في حالات تعرضهم للتهديد بالانتقام أو للترهيب.

١- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما يلزم من تدابير لممارسة ولايتها القضائية - على اﻷفعال التي جرمتها وفقا لهذا البروتوكول - عندما ترتكب الجرائم المعنية قد ارتكبت في اقليمها.

4. each State Party shall take the necessary measures, in accordance with its domestic law, to provide for sanctions in cases of violation of the obligation set forth in paragraph 3 of this article.
4- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة، وفقا لقانونها الداخلي، لفرض جزاءات في حالات الاخلال بالالتزام المبيّن في الفقرة 3 من هذه المادة.

In an effort to detect, prevent and eliminate the theft, loss or diversion of, as well as the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in, firearms, their parts and components and ammunition, each State Party shall take appropriate measures:
سعيا الى كشف حوادث سرقة أو فقدان أو تسريب الأسلحة النارية وأجزائها ومكوناتها والذخيرة، وكذلك صنعها والاتجار بها غير المشروعين، والى منعها والقضاء عليها، يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ التدابير المناسبة:

2. each State Party shall take such measures as may be necessary to entitle its warships or military aircraft to exercise seizure, as referred to in article 10 of this Convention, irrespective of the nationality of the ship undergoing a pirate attack and the nationality which the pirate ship may have or the registration of the pirate ship or aircraft.
2 - يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما يلزم من التدابير لتخويل سفنها الحربية أو طائراتها العسكرية سلطة إجراء الضبط، على النحو المشار إليه في المادة 10 من هذه الاتفاقية، بصرف النظر عن جنسية السفينة التي تتعرض لهجوم شنه قراصنة والجنسية والتي قد تحملها سفينة القرصنة أو مكان تسجيل سفينة أو طائرة القرصنة.

2. each State Party shall take measures to ensure effective action by its authorities in the prevention, detection and punishment of the corruption of public officials, including providing such authorities with adequate independence to deter the exertion of inappropriate influence on their actions.
2- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير لضمان قيام سلطاتها باتخاذ اجراءات فعالة لمنع فساد الموظفين العموميين وكشفه ومعاقبته، بما في ذلك منح تلك السلطات استقلالية كافية لردع ممارسة التأثير غير السليم على تصرفاتها.

1. each State Party shall take appropriate measures within its means to provide effective protection from potential retaliation or intimidation for witnesses in criminal proceedings who give testimony concerning offences covered by this Convention and, as appropriate, for their relatives and other persons close to them.
1- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير ملائمة في حدود امكاناتها لتوفير حماية فعالة من أي انتقام أو ترهيب محتمل للشهود في الاجراءات الجنائية الذين يدلون بشهادة بخصوص الجرائم المشمولة بهذه الاتفاقية، وكذلك لأقاربهم وسائر الأشخاص الوثيقي الصلة بهم، حسب الاقتضاء.

1. each State Party shall take the necessary measures, including legislative and administrative measures, in accordance with the fundamental principles of its domestic legal system, to ensure the implementation of its obligations under this Convention.
١ - يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما يلزم من تدابير ، بما فيها تدابير تشريعية وادارية ، وفقا للمبادىء اﻷساسية لنظامها القانوني الداخلي ، لضمان تنفيذ التزاماتها بمقتضى الاتفاقية .

2. each State Party shall take measures to ensure effective action by its authorities in the prevention, detection and sanctioning of corruption of public officials, including by providing such authorities with adequate independence to deter inappropriate influence on their actions.
٢- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير تكفل قيام سلطاتها باتخاذ اجراءات فعالة من أجل منع فساد الموظفين العموميين وكشفه ومجازاته، بوسائل منها تزويد تلك السلطات باستقلالية كافية لردع أي تأثير غير سليم على اجراءاتها.

“each State Party shall take effective measures to ensure that its territory, or any facility therein, is not allowed to be used by an organized criminal group, or a member thereof, to plan or perpetrate any crime covered by this Convention in any other country.”
" يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ تدابير فعالة لضمان عدم السماح باستخدام اقليمها ، أو أي مرفق موجود فيه ، من جانب جماعة اجرامية منظمة ، أو أي عضو فيها ، لتخطيط أو ارتكاب جرم مشمول بهذه الاتفاقية في بلد آخر . "

3. each State Party shall take such measures as may be necessary to entitle its officials to carry out actions of a legal nature aboard the ship executing seizure for an offence of piracy defined in article 2, paragraph 1, for the purpose of beginning investigations with respect to the offence.
3 - يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما يلزم من التدابير لتخويل مسؤوليها سلطة تنفيذ إجراءات ذات طابع قانوني على ظهر السفينة التي تنفذ عملية ضبط بسبب جريمة قرصنة على النحو المحدد في الفقرة 1 من المادة 2، لأغراض بدء التحقيقات فيما يتعلق بهذه الجريمة.

1. each State Party shall take such measures as may be necessary, consistent with its legal principles, Consistency in the wording of clauses referring to legal principles throughout the Convention will need to be addressed at a later stage.

3. each State Party shall adopt such measures as may be necessary to establish its jurisdiction over the offences that it has established in accordance with this Protocol when the alleged criminal is present in its territory and it does not extradite such person to another country on the basis of the nationality of the alleged offender.
٣- يتعين على كل دولة طرف أن تتخذ ما قد يلزم من تدابير لممارسة ولايتها القضائية على اﻷفعال التي جرمتها وفقا لهذا البروتوكول، عندما يكون الجاني المزعوم موجودا في اقليمها ولا تقوم بتسليم ذلك الشخص الى بلد آخر بسبب جنسية الجاني المزعوم.
