The Advisory Committee recalls that, in paragraph 26 of its resolution 59/283, the General Assembly invited staff representatives to explore the possibility of establishing a staff-funded scheme in the Organization that provides legal advice and support to the staff, and that this invitation was reiterated in paragraph 24 of its resolution 61/261.
