٣٩ - ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل احترام وحماية حقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة والفتاة من خلال التنمية والتنفيذ واﻹعمال الفعلي لسياسات وتشريعات تراعي الفوارق بين الجنسين.

27. Governments should ensure that the human rights of women and girls are respected, protected and promoted through the development, implementation and effective enforcement of gender-sensitive policies and legislation.
٢٧ - ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل احترام وحماية حقوق اﻹنسان للمرأة والفتاة من خلال التنمية والتنفيذ واﻹعمال الفعلي لسياسات وتشريعات تراعي الفوارق بين الجنسين.

17. In order to promote tourism and successfully compete with other countries, Governments should ensure that their immigration regulations facilitate the inflow of tourists and people involved in supplying tourism services.
٧١ - وبغية تعزيز السياحة والتنافس بنجاح مع البلدان اﻷخرى، ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل أن أنظمة الهجرة بها تسهل تدفق السياح ومشاركة الناس في اﻹمداد بالخدمات السياحية.

Furthermore, since employment-based arrangements with contributions from employers and employees are a central component of social security systems in most countries, Governments should ensure that the benefits of such systems are secure and portable between employers.

٩٢ - ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل الاحتفال بالشكل اللائق في المدارس والمؤسسات التعليمية، بعقد اﻷمم المتحدة للتثقيف فى مجال حقوق اﻹنسان الذي بدأ عام ١٩٩٥.

Governments should ensure that procedures for processing official requests for legal assistance in gathering evidence, filing criminal charges and obtaining the extradition of offenders are fast and efficient.
16- ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل سرعة وكفاءة الإجراءات الخاصة بمعالجة الطلبات الرسمية للحصول على مساعدة قانونية في جمع الأدلة وتوجيه التهم الجنائية إلى الجناة واستصدار أوامر بتسليمهم.

53. Young people must be educated in order to become active participants in the shaping of society. Governments should ensure that their school systems included knowledge about the structures of society and democracy and made provision for greater student participation.
٥٣ - واستطردت قائلة إنه لا بد من تعليم الشباب حتى يشاركوا مشاركة فعالة في تشكيل المجتمع، كما ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل أن تتضمن النظم المدرسية توفير المعرفة عن الهياكل الاجتماعية والديمقراطية وأن تعمل على زيادة مشاركة الطلبة.

(d) Governments should ensure that training and research in population and development issues at the tertiary level are strengthened, and that research findings and implications are widely disseminated.
)د( ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل تعزيز التدريب والبحث في مجال قضايا السكان والتنمية على المستوى الثالث، ونشر نتائج وآثار البحوث على نطاق واسع.

(b) Governments should ensure that study of the principles of demand reduction and the role of law enforcement officers in demand reduction is included in the training curriculum of national drug law enforcement agencies;

In response to the need for advanced expertise in methods of effectively dismantling clandestine drug laboratories, Governments should ensure that their law enforcement agencies are able to share such information with countries that currently lack such capacity.
38- استجابة للحاجة إلى الخبرة الراقية في مجال أساليب تفكيك المختبرات السرّية لصنع المخدرات تفكيكا فعّالا، ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل قدرة أجهزتها المعنية بإنفاذ القانون على التشارك في هذه المعلومات مع البلدان التي تفتقر إلى هذه القدرة في الوقت الراهن.

58. In order to effectively mainstream the Declaration into general State policies and to promote the legal and institutional changes required to operationalize it, Governments should ensure that the different actors involved are aware of the Declaration and sufficiently understand its provisions.
58- ولكي يمكن تعميم مراعاة الإعلان تعميماً فعالاً في السياسات العامة للدولة ولتعزيز التغييرات القانونية والمؤسسية المطلوبة لتفعيل الإعلان ينبغي للحكومات أن تكفل وعي مختلف الجهات الفاعلة المعنية لديها بالإعلان وفهمها أحكامه فهماً كافياً.
