1. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions has considered the report of the Secretary-General on the financing of the core diplomatic training activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) (A/63/592).

Having considered the report of the Secretary-General on the financing of the core diplomatic training activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research and the related report of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions,
وقد نظرت في تقرير الأمين العام عن تمويل أنشطة التدريب الأساسي الذي يوفره معهد الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والبحث في المجال الدبلوماسي() وتقرير اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية ذي الصلة()،

As indicated in the report of the Secretary-General entitled " Financing of the core diplomatic training activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research " (A/63/592), from a financial perspective, the Institute's ability to deliver on its mandate is positive with the exception of core diplomatic training.
وكما جاء في تقرير الأمين العام المعنون " تمويل أنشطة التدريب الأساسي الذي يوفره معهد الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والبحث في المجال الدبلوماسي " (A/63/592)، فإن قدرة المعهد على الاضطلاع بولايته، من المنظور المالي، تتسم بالإيجابية باستثناء التدريب الأساسي في المجال الدبلوماسي.

The present report is submitted in response to resolution E/2008/35, in which the Economic and Social Council requested the Secretary-General to submit a report on the issue of financing the core diplomatic training activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
يُقدَّم هذا التقرير استجابة للقرار E/2008/35 الذي طلب فيه المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم تقريرا عن مسألة تمويل أنشطة التدريب الأساسي الذي يوفره معهد الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والبحث (اليونيتار) في المجال الدبلوماسي.

1. The present report provides financial information on the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) core diplomatic training, as requested in paragraph 6 of the Economic and Social Council resolution E/2008/35.
1 - يُقدِّم هذا التقرير معلومات مالية عن التدريب الأساسي الذي يوفره معهد الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والبحث (اليونيتار) في المجال الدبلوماسي بناء على الطلب الوارد في الفقرة 6 من قرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي E/2008/35.

At the same resumed session, the General Assembly decided to defer until the first part of its resumed sixty-fourth session consideration of the report of the Secretary-General on the financing of the core diplomatic training activities of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (A/63/592) and the related report of the Advisory Committee (A/63/744) (decision 63/550 B).
