In his message on United Nations Public Service Day five years ago, our Prime Minister, Mr. Manmohan Singh, said:
في رسالته بمناسبة يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة قبل خمس سنوات، قال رئيس وزرائنا، السيد مانموهان سينغ:

30. By its resolution 57/277, the General Assembly designated 23 June as United Nations Public Service Day.
30 - حددت الجمعية العامة، بموجب قرارها 57/277، يوم 23 حزيران/يونيه ليكون يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة.

Winners were honoured on 23 June 2011, United Nations Public Service Day.
وكرِّم الفائزون في 23 حزيران/ يونيه 2011، الذي صادف يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة.

Moreover, the Committee recommends that the Secretariat make use of the network utilized for the United Nations Public Service Awards to reach most sectors of society and reiterates that a statement by the Secretary-General on the occasion of United Nations Public Service Day would greatly enhance the perceived image of the public sector.
وكذلك توصي اللجنة بأن تفيد الأمانة العامة من الشبكات، المستخدمة لجوائز الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة، في الوصول إعلاميا إلى معظم قطاعات المجتمع، وتؤكد من جديد أن من شأن إصدار الأمين العام بيانا بمناسبة يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة أن يعزز كثيرا من الصورة المتحققة عن القطاع العام.

He recalled that United Nations Public Service Day had been established by the General Assembly in 2003 and that awards were given for contributions made to enhancing the role, prestige and visibility of public service.
وأشار إلى أن الجمعية العامة استحدثت يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة في عام 2003، وأن الجوائز تمنح تقديرا للإسهامات المقدمة في سبيل تعزيز دور الخدمة العامة ومكانتها وبروزها.

Regional awards were presented every year on 23 June on the occasion of United Nations Public Service Day.
وتُقدّم الجوائز على الصعيد الإقليمي بمناسبة يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة في 23 حزيران/يونيه من كل عام.

The Group of Experts recommends the proclamation of a United Nations Public Service Day to celebrate the value and the virtue of service to the community at the local, national and global levels, with prizes to be awarded by the Secretary-General for contributions made to the cause of enhancing the role, prestige and visibility of public service.
يوصي فريق الخبراء بإعلان يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة بغية الاحتفال بقيمة مزايا تقديم الخدمات إلى المجتمعات المحلية على المستويات المحلي والوطني والعالمي، مع تخصيص جوائز يقدمها الأمين العام للمساهمين في قضية تعزيز دور الخدمة العامة ومكانتها وتسليط الأضواء عليها.

Therefore, the Committee recommended that United Nations Public Service Day celebrations should become an outstanding event in order to inspire public servants and increase citizens' awareness of the important role that public servants play, at all levels of government, in achieving public goals.
وعليه فقد أوصت اللجنة بأن تصبح احتفالات يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة حدثا بارزا من أجل بعث الهمم في نفوس موظفي الخدمة العامة وزيادة وعي المواطنين بالدور الهام الذي يضطلع به موظفو الخدمة العامة، بمختلف مستوياتهم في الحكومة، في تحقيق الأهداف العامة.

2. Stresses the importance of United Nations Public Service Day and the United Nations Public Service Awards in the process of revitalizing public administration by building a culture of innovation, partnership and responsiveness;

The Awards were presented on 23 June -- the United Nations Public Service Day -- during a ceremony at the 2011 United Nations and Africa Public Service Forum in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania.
وقُدمت الجوائز في 23 حزيران/يونيه - وهو يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة - أثناء حفل في منتدى الأمم المتحدة وأفريقيا للخدمة العامة عقد في دار السلام بجمهورية تنـزانيا المتحدة.

The General Assembly, in its resolution 59/55, stressed the importance of the United Nations Public Service Day and the United Nations Public Service Awards and requested the Secretary-General to continue to facilitate, through UNPAN, the dissemination of valuable practices in public administration.
وكانت الجمعية العامة قد شددت، في قرارها 59/55، على أهمية يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة وجوائز الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يواصل تيسير نشر الممارسات القيمة في مجال الإدارة العامة، من خلال شبكة الأمم المتحدة الإلكترونية للإدارة العامة والمالية.

Requests the Secretariat to continue to give due recognition to innovative public sector initiatives by Member States through the flagship work of the United Nations Public Service Day and the Public Service Awards in support of the implementation of the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals;
3 - يطلب إلى الأمانة العامة أن تواصل إيلاء الاعتبار الواجب لما تتخذه الدول الأعضاء من مبادرات ابتكارية على صعيد القطاع العام من خلال العمل الريادي في إطار يوم الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة وجوائز الأمم المتحدة للخدمة العامة دعما لتنفيذ الأهداف الإنمائية المتفق عليها دوليا، بما فيها الأهداف الإنمائية للألفية؛
