14. In light of its day of general discussion in 2007 on " Resources for the Rights of the Child - Responsibility of States " and with emphasis on articles 2, 3, 4 and 6 of the Convention, the Committee recommends that:

UNICEF participated in the day of general discussion at the Committee on the Rights of the Child and supported the participation of two indigenous participants.

Furthermore, the Committee draws the attention of the State party to the recommendations adopted on the Committee's day of general discussion on the right of the child to be heard held on 15 September 2006.
