Paragraph 10 should be replaced by the following: " Further urges States to exert the utmost efforts, in accordance with their national legislation and in conformity with international human rights standards, to ensure that religious places, sites and shrines are fully respected and protected and to take additional measures in cases where they are vulnerable to desecration or destruction; " .
وينبغي الاستعاضة عن الفقرة 10 بالنص التالي " وتحث كذلك الدول على بذل أقصى الجهود الممكنة، وفقاً لتشريعاتها الوطنية واتساقا مع المعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان لضمان الاحترام والحماية الكافيين للأماكن الدينية والمواقع والمزارات المقدسة بشكل كامل واتخاذ تدابير إضافية في حالات تعرضها لانتهاك حرمتها أو للتدمير؛ " .
