Mr. Adechi (Benin), speaking on behalf of the least developed countries (LDCs), stressed the importance of the Secretary-General's report on the implementation of the Brussels Programme of Action for the Least Developed Countries for the Decade 2001 - 2010 (BPoA) and recalled that Benin, in its capacity as the Chair of the Coordination Bureau for the Least Developed Countries, had made critical comments on the report earlier.
