Further recall the Declaration of the 2nd African Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in Nairobi, Kenya, from 14 to 16 April 2010 that adopted the Extended Programme of Action (2006 - 2015) and stress the need for continuation of the Africa Regional Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction and the Hyogo Framework for Action as valid frameworks for disaster risk reduction with the need to reinforce their implementation.
