27. The African Training and Research Centre for Women (ATRCW) of ECA has carried out the following activities in preparation for the regional conference:

In Africa, a partnership has been established with the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development in Morocco to develop a model e-governance training module to be tested and implemented through regional NGOs (including Sangonet) and universities (including the Open University of Zimbabwe and the African Virtual University).
