6. Urges all the Afghan parties to bring an end without delay to discrimination on the basis of gender and the deprivation of human rights of women, and in particular to take measures to ensure:

11. Strongly urges all the Afghan parties to ensure respect for the human rights and fundamental freedoms of women, so that their honour and dignity may be ensured in accordance with the provisions of international human rights instruments and humanitarian law;
١١ - تحث بقوة جميع اﻷطراف اﻷفغانية على كفالة احترام حقوق الانسان والحريات اﻷساسية للمرأة، بحيث يصان شرفها وكرامتها وفقا ﻷحكام الصكوك الدولية المتعلقة بحقوق الانسان والقانون الانساني؛

My delegation therefore encourages all the Afghan parties to speed up the process of national reconciliation so as to enable the United Nations to proceed with its support for the reconstruction efforts which the country so desperately needs and to help the Afghan people to enjoy the dividends of peace.

Urges all the Afghan parties to respect fully international humanitarian law, to protect civilians, to halt the use of weapons against the civilian population, including the rocket attacks against civilian suburbs of Kabul, to stop the laying of land-mines and to prohibit the drafting and the recruitment of children as para-combatants;
٤- تحث جميع اﻷطراف اﻷفغانية على احترام القانون اﻹنساني الدولي احتراماً كاملاً وعلى حماية المدنيين والتوقف عن استخدام اﻷسلحة ضد المدنيين، بما في ذلك الهجمات بالصواريخ ضد ضواحي كابول المأهولة بالمدنيين، وعلى التوقف عن زرع اﻷلغام البرية وعلى حظر تعبئة وتجنيد اﻷطفال لاستخدامهم في أعمال شبه قتالية؛

Also urges all the Afghan parties to respect accepted humanitarian rules and all human rights and fundamental freedoms, including the rights of women and children, and calls upon the Afghan authorities to take measures to ensure the effective participation of women in social, political and cultural life throughout the country;

Urges all the Afghan parties to work and cooperate fully with the United Nations Special Mission to Afghanistan with a view to achieving a comprehensive political solution leading to the cessation of armed confrontation and the establishment of a democratic Government elected through free and fair elections to be held throughout the country and based on the right to self-determination of the people of Afghanistan;
٢- تحث جميع اﻷطراف اﻷفغانية على أن تعمل وتتعاون بصورة كاملة مع البعثة الخاصة لﻷمم المتحدة في أفغانستان بغية تحقيق حل سياسي شامل يفضي الى وقف المواجهة المسلحة وإقامة حكومة ديمقراطية عن طريق انتخابات حرة ونزيهة تجرى في جميع أرجاء البلد وتقوم على حق شعب أفغانستان في تقرير مصيره؛

13. Invites all the Afghan parties to support the International Committee of the Red Cross, in particular by providing access to all prisoners, and to release all non-criminal civilian prisoners;
١٣ - تدعـو جميع اﻷطراف اﻷفغانية إلى دعم لجنة الصليب اﻷحمر الدولية، وبصفة خاصة بأن تتيح لها إمكانية الوصول إلى جميع السجناء، وإطلاق سراح جميع السجناء المدنيين غير المجرمين؛
