By resolution 55/81 of 4 December 2000, the Assembly strongly urged States parties to the Convention to accelerate their domestic ratification procedures with regard to the amendment to the Convention concerning the financing of the Committee and to notify the Secretary-General expeditiously in writing of their agreement to the above-mentioned amendment.
4 - وقد شجعت الجمعية العامة بموجب قرارها 55/81 المؤرخ 4 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2000، الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية تشجيعا قويا على التعجيل باتخاذ إجراءاتها الداخلية للتصديق على تعديل الاتفاقية المتعلق بتمويل اللجنة وإخطار الأمين العام على وجه السرعة خطيا بموافقتها على التعديل المذكور أعلاه.
