UNEP is also in the process of developing the fifth report in the Global Environmental Outlook series, which dedicates a chapter to chemicals and hazardous wastes. The chapter will also provide an important insight into the challenges of sound management of chemicals and hazardous wastes and the linkages to the broader environment and sustainable development agenda.
