In accordance with Council decision 1993/207, the Commission on Sustainable Development consists of one representative from each of 53 members elected by the Council from among the States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies on the basis of an equitable geographical distribution, according to the following pattern:
١٠٣ - وفقا لمقرر المجلس ١٩٩٣/٢٠٧، تتكون لجنة التنمية المستدامة من ممثل واحد من كل من ٥٣ دولة عضو يختارها المجلس من بين الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة على أساس توزيع جغرافي منصف، وفقا للنمط التالي:

" ٣ - تقرر أيضا أن تنشئ لجنة تحضيرية تابعة للجمعية العامة معنية بالمؤتمر العالمي المعني بالادارة والتنمية يفتح باب العضوية فيها لجميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة وأن تأذن للمراقبين بالمشاركة في أعمالها، وفقا للممارسة المعمول بها؛

" 3. Decides to establish a preparatory committee for the United Nations Conference on International Migration and Development open to all States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies with the participation of observers, in accordance with the established practice of the Assembly;
" ٣ - تقرر إنشاء لجنة تحضيرية لمؤتمر اﻷمم المتحدة المعني بالهجرة الدولية والتنمية يكون الاشتراك فيها مفتوحا لجميع الدول اﻷعضاء في اﻷمم المتحدة وأعضاء الوكالات المتخصصة ويشارك فيها مراقبون، وفقا للممارسة المعمول بها في الجمعية العامة؛

140. It further decided that the Forum should be established as a subsidiary body of the Council composed of all States Members of the United Nations and members of the specialized agencies and that it would operate under the rules of procedure of the functional commissions of the Council.
