In view of the importance the Committee attaches to the establishment of a network of information and documentation in the field of children's rights, as well as to the computerization of its work, a meeting was held on this issue with representatives of UNICEF and of the Centre for Human Rights.

Requests the Secretary-General to make available additional human and financial resources, giving due regard to the need to finance and implement activities of the United Nations related to development, to enhance the capability of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and of the Centre for Human Rights to fulfil effectively their respective mandates;

At its 74th meeting, the Fifth Committee had before it a draft decision submitted by the Rapporteur, on the basis of informal consultations, entitled " Staffing and functions of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and of the Centre for Human Rights " (A/C.5/48/L.84).

By letter of 6 November 1993, the First Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Norodom Ranariddh, and the Second Prime Minister, His Excellency Mr. Hun Sen, took note of Commission resolution 1993/6 and confirmed the full support and cooperation of the Royal Government of Cambodia in facilitating the task of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General and of the Centre for Human Rights in the fulfilment of their respective mandates.
وفي رسالة مؤرخة ٦ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٣، أحاط رئيس الوزراء اﻷول، سمو اﻷمير نوردوم راناريدا، ورئيس الوزراء الثاني، سعادة السيد هون سن، علما بقرار اللجنة ١٩٩٣/٦ وأكدا على تأييدهما التام وتعاونهما مع حكومة كمبوديا الملكية في تيسير مهمة الممثل الخاص لﻷمين العام ومركز حقوق الانسان في انجاز ولايتيهما.
