3. The Commission on Investment, Technology and Related Financial issues decided to convene an Intergovernmental Expert Meeting on the Development Dimension of FDI: Policies to Enhance the Role of FDI in Support of the Competitiveness of the Enterprise Sector and the economic performance of Host Economies, taking into account the Trade/Investment Interface, in the National and International Context.
3- قررت لجنة الاستثمار والتكنولوجيا والقضايا المالية المتصلة بذلك أن تعقد اجتماعاً لفريق خبراء حكومي دولي يُعنى بالبعد الإنمائي للاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر: السياسات الرامية إلى تعزيز دور الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر في دعم القدرة التنافسية لقطاع المشاريع والأداء الاقتصادي للاقتصادات المضيفة مع مراعاة نقاط الالتقاء بين التجارة والاستثمار، في السياقين الوطني والدولي.

6 To facilitate the discussions, the UNCTAD secretariat is preparing an issues note on " The development dimension of FDI: policies to enhance the role of FDI in support of the competitiveness of the enterprise sector and the economic performance of host economies, taking into account the trade/investment interface, in the national and international context " .
