Decides that the boundary between the Republic of Cameroon and the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Bakassi follows the thalweg of the Akpakorum (Akwayafe) River, dividing the Mangrove Islands near Ikang in the way shown on map TSGS 2240, as far as the straight line joining Bakassi Point and King Point;

I have the honour to refer to my letter of 20 June 2006 (S/2006/419), in which I informed the Security Council of the Greentree Agreement of 12 June 2006 between the Republic of Cameroon and the Federal Republic of Nigeria concerning the modalities of withdrawal and transfer of authority in the Bakassi peninsula.

As I informed you (S/2006/419), on 12 June 2006, I invited the President of the Cameroon, Paul Biya, and the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, to Greentree, New York, where they signed the Greentree Agreement between the Republic of Cameroon and the Federal Republic of Nigeria concerning the modalities of withdrawal and transfer of authority in the Bakassi Peninsula.
كما سبق أن أبلغتكم (S/2006/419)، وجّهت الدعوة، في 12 حزيران/يونيه 2006، إلى بول بيا، رئيس جمهورية الكاميرون وإلى أولوسيغون أوباسانجو، رئيس جمهورية نيجيريا، للحضور إلى غرينتري، نيويورك، حيث وقّعا اتفاق غرينتري بين جمهورية الكاميرون وجمهورية نيجيريا الاتحادية بشأن طرائق الانسحاب ونقل السلطة في شبه جزيرة باكاسي.
