The Meeting appreciated the efforts made by the IDB to finance development programs and projects under the Special Program for the Development of Africa and the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development, and noted also the progress made by the Bank in the area of Women in Development and in the cooperation with the private sector.
266 - وأعرب الاجتماع عن تقديره للجهود التي يبذلها البنك الإسلامي للتنمية لتمويل مشاريع التنمية في إطار البرنامج الخاص للتنمية في أفريقيا وصندوق التضامن الإسلامي للتنمية. وأحاط علما بالتقدم الذي أحرزه البنك في مجال تعزيز دور المرأة في التنمية وفي التعاون مع القطاع الخاص.

The latest annual coordination meeting of Foreign Ministers of OIC Member States, held in New York in September 2003, had appealed to member States to secure financial resources through the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Solidarity Fund for the purpose of meeting the needs of refugees.
وفي الاجتماع التنسيقي السنوي الأخير لوزراء خارجية الدول أعضاء المنظمة، الذي عُقد في أيلول/سبتمبر بنيويورك (الولايات المتحدة)، طالبت المنظمة أيضا مصرف التنمية الإسلامي وصندوق التضامن الإسلامي بضمان تقديم مساعدة مالية كبيرة بهدف تغطية احتياجات اللاجئين.
