The Advisory Committee also recommends approval for UNFICYP, on an exceptional basis, the special arrangements with regard to the application of article IV of the Financial Regulations of the United Nations, whereby appropriations required in respect of obligations owed to Governments providing contingents and/or logistic support to UNFICYP shall be retained beyond the period stipulated under financial regulations 4.3 and 4.4.
٢٦ - توصي اللجنة الاستشارية كذلك بالموافقة، على أساس استثنائي، بترتيبات خاصة لقوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في قبرص لتطبيق المادة الرابعة من النظام المالي لﻷمم المتحدة بحيث يمكن الاحتفاظ بالاعتمادات المطلوبة بشأن الالتزامات المستحقة للحكومات التي توفر الوحدات و/أو الدعم السوقي لقوة اﻷمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام في قبرص لما بعد الفترة المبينة في البندين ٤-٣ و ٤-٤ من النظام المالي.

Under the approved special arrangements, appropriations required in respect of obligations owed to Governments providing contingents and/or logistic support to the mission shall be retained beyond the period stipulated under financial regulations 4.3 and 4.4, as follows:

The recommendations are based on the proposals of the Secretary-General, the recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions thereon, revised estimates and statements of programme budget implications submitted by the Secretary-General and the appropriations required for the implementation of resolutions adopted by the General Assembly at its current session.
