In implementation of the Arab summit resolution, the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria (the Algerian Space Agency) prepared a study on the creation of an Arab earth-monitoring satellite and circulated this to all competent bodies in the Arab States for their opinions and comments, prior to the meeting of Arab experts specialized in information and communication technology and the environment.
