Pursuant to those resolutions, UNODC will support further work in the areas of asset recovery and technical assistance, designing an innovative tool to review the implementation of the Convention and spearheading a self-assessment process for a group of States volunteering to evaluate their compliance with the provisions of the Convention.
وعملا بتلك القرارات، سيدعم المكتب المزيد من الأعمال في مجالي استرداد الموجودات والمساعدة التقنية، وسيصمّم أداة ابتكارية لاستعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية، وسيتصدّر عملية تقييم ذاتي تقوم بها مجموعة من الدول المتطوعة لتقييم امتثالها لأحكام الاتفاقية.

It was further decided that the Working Group would build confidence and encourage cooperation between requesting and requested States by bringing together relevant competent authorities and anti-corruption bodies and practitioners involved in asset recovery and the fight against corruption and by serving as a forum for them.
3- وتَقرر كذلك أن يعمل الفريق العامل على بناء الثقة وتشجيع التعاون بين الدول الطالبة والدول متلقية الطلبات، بأن ينظم لقاءات تجمع بين السلطات المختصة ذات الصلة وهيئات مكافحة الفساد والممارسين العاملين في مجالي استرداد الموجودات ومكافحة الفساد، وبأن يكون محفلا لتلك اللقاءات.

Three new projects under the programme will be launched in 2011. They will support the Commission of Integrity and other relevant institutions in their interaction with the judiciary and strengthen their operational capacity in asset recovery and financial investigations.
وسوف تُطلَق ضمن إطار هذا البرنامج في عام 2011 ثلاثة مشاريع جديدة، من شأنها أن تدعم مفوضية النـزاهة وسائر المؤسسات ذات الصلة في تفاعلها مع الجهاز القضائي، وأن تعزز قدراتها العملياتية في مجالي استرداد الموجودات والتحقيقات المالية.

Furthermore, the work of the mechanism should not be restricted to following up on the application of the Convention by States parties but should also include the study and assessment of related matters concerning asset recovery and technical assistance.
كما ينبغي ألاّ يكون عمل الآلية قاصراً على متابعة تطبيق الاتفاقية من جانب الدول الأطراف بل أن يشمل أيضاً دراسة وتقييم المسائل ذات الصلة، كالمسائل المتعلقة باسترداد الموجودات وتقديم المساعدة التقنية.

In addition to those further means of direct dialogue, informal trilateral meetings were held with the agreement of the State party under review in the margins of sessions of the Implementation Review Group and the meetings of the Working Group on asset recovery and the Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption.

Focal points and governmental experts were requested to inform the secretariat in a timely manner of their possible attendance to meetings of the Implementation Review Group, as well as the working groups on asset recovery and prevention, in order to organize and schedule meetings with the reviewing experts where requested by the State party under review.
54- كما طُلب إلى جهات الوصل والخبراء الحكوميين إبلاغ الأمانة في الوقت المناسب بحضورهم المحتمل لاجتماعات فريق استعراض التنفيذ والفريق العامل المعني باسترداد الموجودات والفريق العامل المعني بمنع الفساد، وذلك من أجل تنظيم الاجتماعات مع الخبراء القائمين بالاستعراض ووضع جدول زمني لها عندما تطلب ذلك الدولة الطرف المستعرَضة.

Focal points and governmental experts were requested to inform the secretariat in a timely manner of their possible attendance at meetings of the Group, as well as those of the Working Group on asset recovery and the Working Group on the Prevention of Corruption, in order to organize and schedule meetings with the reviewing experts when requested to do so by the State party under review.

By using its power to convene multi-jurisdictional case discussions, the StAR Initiative had been able to rally support around specific cases, such as in the context of the Arab Forum on asset recovery and the Ukraine Forum on Asset Recovery, and progress had been made.
وقال إنَّ مبادرة ستار استطاعت، بفضل قدرتها على إجراء مناقشات لقضايا تخص عدةَ ولايات قضائية، أنْ تحشد الدعم لصالح قضايا معيَّنة، مثلما جرى في إطار المنتدى العربي لاسترداد الأموال ومنتدى أوكرانيا بشأن استرداد الموجودات؛ وأنْ تُحرز نجاحاً في هذا الصدد.
