The Meeting recognized the value and importance of the Sponsorship Programme for promoting universalization and strengthening the implementation of the Convention and its Protocols, enhancing the cooperation and exchange of information among the High Contracting Parties and States not yet party, and ensuring broader geographical representation at meetings of the Convention.
وسلّم بقيمة وأهمية برنامج الرعاية في تعزيز عالمية الاتفاقية وبروتوكولاتها وتوطيد تنفيذهما، وتحسين التعاون وتبادل المعلومات بين الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية والدول التي لم تصبح أطرافاً بعدُ، وضمان تمثيل جغرافي أوسع في اجتماعات الاتفاقية.

35. The Meeting again noted the work undertaken by interested States parties through the establishment of a sponsorship programme, which had helped to ensure more widespread representation at meetings of the Convention and of the intersessional meetings.
35- كما لاحظ الاجتماع أن العمل الذي اضطلعت به دول أطراف مهتمة بالأمر من خلال وضعها لبرنامج رعاية يساعد على كفالة التمثيل على نطاق أوسع في الاجتماعات المتعلقة بالاتفاقية واجتماعات ما بين الدورات.
