5. An amendment to this Convention shall enter into force for States Parties that have accepted the amendment on the date of deposit of acceptances by a majority of the States which were Parties at the date of adoption of the amendment.

5. An amendment shall enter into force for States Parties which have ratified or accepted the amendment sixty days after two thirds of the States which were Parties at the date of adoption of the amendment have deposited instruments of ratification or acceptance with the Secretary-General.
5 - يبدأ نفاذ التعديل بالنسبة إلى الدول الأطراف التي تكون قد صدقت على التعديل أو قبلت به، بعد ستين يوما من قيام ثلثي الدول التي كانت أطرافا في تاريخ اعتماد التعديل بإيداع صكوك التصديق أو القبول لدى الأمين العام.

3. If so decided by the Conference of States Parties by consensus, an amendment adopted and approved in accordance with paragraph 1 of this article which relates exclusively to articles 34, 38, 39 and 40 shall enter into force for all States Parties on the thirtieth day after the number of instruments of acceptance deposited reaches two thirds of the number of States Parties at the date of adoption of the amendment.

As you will be aware, by paragraph 25 of resolution 1822 (2008) the Security Council directed the Committee to conduct a review of all 488 entries on the Consolidated List as at the date of adoption of that resolution by 30 June 2010.
