Communication by the AU Commission to the AU partners of the AFISM-CAR logistical needs, as reflected in the conclusions of the Technical Assessment Mission to the Central African Republic, on the understanding that additional information could be provided in the light of the above-mentioned operation planning meeting.
15 - إبلاغ مفوضية الاتحاد الأفريقي شركاء الاتحاد الأفريقي بالاحتياجات اللوجستية لبعثة الدعم الدولية، المبينة في استنتاجات بعثة التقييم التقني التي أوفدت إلى جمهورية أفريقيا الوسطى، على أن يكون من المفهوم أنه يمكن تقديم معلومات إضافية في ضوء اجتماع تخطيط العمليات المذكور أعلاه.

Appeals to AU member states, the League of Arab States, the European Union and its member states, the United Nations, as well as other AU partners, to urgently provide, in a predictable and coordinated manner, the required financial, technical and logistical support to facilitate the deployment of AMISOM as soon as possible;

Expresses deep concern at the precarious financial situation facing AMIS and appeals to AU partners to provide the necessary support to the Mission to allow it to continue to perform its mandate during the transition and to enable the AU to assume effectively its important political role in the overall implementation of the DPA.
18 - يعبر عن بالغ قلقه إزاء الوضع المالي الهش لبعثة الاتحاد الأفريقي في السودان ويدعو شركاء الاتحاد الأفريقي إلى تقديم الدعم اللازم للبعثة وذلك لتمكينها من تنفيذ تفويضها خلال الفترة الانتقالية والاتحاد الأفريقي من الاضطلاع بدوره السياسي الهام في تنفيذ اتفاق السلام لدارفور.

16. Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to transmit this communiqué to the United Nations Security Council to seek its support, and to actively engage all AU partners to mobilize further support for the implementation of the revised AMISOM mandate;

Takes note of the decision adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States meeting at the ministerial level in Cairo, on 4 March 2008, and requests the Chairperson of the Commission to continue to work closely with the League of Arab States and other AU partners in order to mobilize maximum support for the AU's position;

Requests the Chairperson of the Commission to transmit this communiqué and the Strategic Concept for future AMISOM operations to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as well as to the other AU partners, to seek their support and cooperation, and to report to Council on the outcomes of its requests, particularly with regard to the resolution on Somalia to be adopted by the Security Council;

Deeply regrets the failure of the SLM/A group led by Abdulwahid Al Nour and the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) of Khalil Ibrahim to sign the DPA, despite all the efforts made by the Mediation, African Leaders and the representatives of the AU partners present in Abuja during the final phase of the Peace Talks, and subsequent to the signing of the Agreement on 5 May 2006;
9 - يعرب عن بالغ أسفه عن كون فصيل حركة/جيش تحرير السودان الذي يتزعمه عبد الوحيد النور وحركة العدل والمساواة بزعامة خليل إبراهيم لم يوقعا الاتفاق رغم الجهود المبذولة من قبل الوساطة والزعماء الأفريقيين وممثلي شركاء الاتحاد الأفريقي الموجودين في أبوجا خلال المرحلة النهائية لمحادثات السلام وحتى بعد توقيع الاتفاق في 5 أيار/مايو 2006؛

6. EXPRESSES ITS GRATITUDE to the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany for its assistance to the implementation of the AUBP, and URGES the other African Union (AU) partners to support the implementation of the AUBP and, where relevant, honour the commitments made;

9. Further requests the Chairperson of the Commission to undertake the necessary consultations with the United Nations, as well as other AU partners, including the European Union, so as to keep them updated on the progress of the efforts invested to implement decision PSC/AHG/Comm.(XXIII) and mobilize their logistical, financial and technical support towards the deployment of an African Force in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
9 - يطلب أيضا إلى رئيس المفوضية عقد المشاورات الضرورية مع الأمم المتحدة، علاوة على شركاء الاتحاد الأفريقي الآخرين، بما في ذلك الاتحاد الأوروبي، لإطلاعهم على ما يستجد من تقدم في الجهود المبذولة لتنفيذ القرار PSC/AHG/Comm.(XXIII)، ولحشد دعمهم اللوجستي والمالي والتقني في سبيل نشر قوة أفريقية في جمهورية الكونغو الديمقراطية؛
