unless their entry has been approved, for purposes consistent with the present resolution and other relevant resolutions, by the Committee established by resolution 841 (1993), and requests the Committee to maintain an updated list, based on information provided by States and regional organizations, of the persons falling within this paragraph;

(a) The export to Iraq of the parts and equipment which are essential for the safe operation of the Kirkuk-Yumurtalik pipeline system in Iraq, subject to the prior approval by the Committee established by resolution 661 (1990) of each export contract;

12. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Council within 6 months of the date of adoption of this resolution, and again within 12 months, regarding, in particular, the export of arms and related matériel referred to in paragraph 7 above, on the basis of the reports submitted by the Committee established by resolution 918 (1994); English

On 18 July the Government of Iraq was informed that I had approved its plan subject to the condition that its implementation would be governed by resolution 986 (1995) and the memorandum of understanding and would be without prejudice to the procedures employed by the Committee established by resolution 661 (1996).
وفي ١٨ تموز/يوليه، أُبلغت حكومة العراق بأنني قد وافقت على خطتها شريطة أن يخضع تنفيذها للقرار ٩٨٦ )١٩٩٥( ومذكرة التفاهم وألا يشكل مساسا باﻹجراءات التي تستخدمها اللجنة المنشأة بموجب القرار ٦٦١ )١٩٩٠(.

The approval of the plan is without prejudice to actions that might be taken by the Committee established by resolution 661 (1990) regarding applications for export of particular items contained on the list submitted for the Committee's consideration in accordance with its procedures.
والموافقة على الخطة لا تخل بالتدابير التي يمكن أن تتخذها اللجنة المنشأة بموجب القرار ٦٦١ )١٩٩٠( بشأن ما يقدم الى نظر اللجنة وفقا ﻹجراءاتها من طلبات تصدير بنود معينة واردة في القائمة.

Welcoming the efforts made by the Committee established by resolution 661 (1990) to refine and clarify its working procedures and encouraging the Committee to go further in that direction in order to expedite the approval process,
وإذ يرحب بالجهود التي بذلتها اللجنة المنشأة بموجب القرار ٦٦١ )١٩٩٠( لتحسين وتوضيح إجراءات عملها وإذ يشجع اللجنة على السير قدما في هذا الاتجاه من أجل التعجيل بعملية الموافقة،

(b) supplies of non-lethal military equipment intended solely for humanitarian or protective use, and related technical assistance and training, as approved in advance by the Committee established by paragraph 14 below,
(ب) المعدات العسكرية غير الفتاكة المعدة للاستخدام في الأغراض الإنسانية أو لأغراض الحماية فقط، وما يتصل بها من مساعدة وتدريب تقنيين، التي توافق عليها مسبقا اللجنة المنشأة بموجب الفقرة 14 أدناه؛

(a) Expel all Revolutionary United Front (RUF) members from Liberia including such individuals as are listed by the Committee established by paragraph 14 of the resolution, and prohibit all RUF activities on its territory, provided that nothing in this paragraph shall oblige Liberia to expel its own nationals from its territory;
(أ) طرد جميع أعضاء الجبهة المتحدة الثورية من ليبريا، بمن فيهم الأفراد الذين تضع اللجنة المنشأة بموجب الفقرة 14 من القرار قائمة بهم، وحظر جميع أنشطة الجبهة على أراضيها، على ألا يترتب على ما ورد في هذه الفقرة إلزام ليبريا بطرد مواطنين لها من أراضيها؛

15. Calls upon the Government of Liberia to establish an effective Certificate of Origin regime for trade in rough diamonds that is transparent and internationally verifiable and has been approved by the Committee established by paragraph 14 above, to come into operation after the measures imposed by paragraphs 5 to 7 above have been terminated in accordance with this resolution;
15 - يطلب إلى حكومة ليبريا إنشاء نظام فعال لشهادات المنشأ في مجال تجارة الماس، يكون شفافا وقابلا للتحقق دوليا ومعتمدا من اللجنة المنشأة بموجب الفقرة 14 أعلاه على أن يبدأ العمل به بعد رفع التدابير المفروضة بموجب الفقرات 5 إلى 7 أعلاه، وفقا لأحكام هذا القرار؛
