It is further concerned about the lack of protection of child victims from perpetrators, especially in the family, a concern which is reinforced by the long duration of investigations and proceedings in criminal cases on sexual abuse.

(ج) أن تكفل ألاَّ يؤدي اللجوء إلى نظم العدالة غير الرسمية إلى النيل من حقوق الأطفال أو إلى منع الأطفال الضحايا من الوصول إلى نظام العدالة الرسمي، وأن تقرر أنَّ للمعايير الدولية لحقوق الإنسان الغلبةَ على ما عداها.

(h) To provide, in appropriate cases, for the safety of child victims, as well as of their families, witnesses on their behalf, and individuals/organizations dealing with the prevention and/or protection and rehabilitation of child victims from intimidation and retaliation;
(ح) القيام، في الحالات المناسبة، بتوفير ما يلزم لسلامة الأطفال الضحايا وأسرهم والشهود لصالحهم، ومن يعنى من الأشخاص أو المنظمات بوقاية و/أو حماية الأطفال الضحايا من التعرض للإرهاب والانتقام ويسعى لإعادة تأهيلهم؛

(b) Take the necessary measures to reduce the duration of investigation and proceedings in criminal cases regarding sexual abuse of children and ensure appropriate protection of child victims from perpetrators;
(ب) اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لتقليص مدة التحقيقات والدعاوى في القضايا الجنائية المتعلقة بالاعتداء الجنسي على أطفال وضمان الحماية المناسبة للأطفال الضحايا من الجناة؛
