66. Ambitious but attainable deadlines for the destruction of all cluster munitions that do not meet the accuracy and reliability standards of performance must be established.

(a) To use cluster munitions that do not meet the criteria in paragraph 2 only after approval by its highest-ranking operational commander in the area of operations/ by the appropriate politically mandated operational authority, in accordance with national procedures;
(أ) ألا يستخدم الذخائر العنقودية التي لا تلبي المعايير المنصوص عليها في الفقرة 2 إلا بعد موافقة صادرة عن القائد الأعلى رتبة في مسرح العمليات/سلطة العمليات المناسبة المخولة سياسياً، وفقاً للإجراءات الوطنية؛

(e) numbers and types of cluster munitions that do not meet the standards described in paragraph 2 of the Technical Annex retained in accordance with paragraph 5 of Article 4;
