A draft Report of the Working Group on Executive Committee working methods was considered and adopted by the Working Group on 20 June 1995.

Recalling decisions taken at the 16 January and 4 April meetings of the Sub-Committee on Administrative and Financial Matters, and noting the recommendations of the Working Group on Executive Committee working methods, the Executive Committee decides that:

8. A further series of consultations of relevance to the work of SCAF, were those of the Working Group on Executive Committee working methods.

The Working Group on Executive Committee working methods met on 22 March, 1 June and 20 June 1995 under the chairmanship of H.E. Ambassador J. Esper Larsen.

Having reviewed the issues before it at its forty-sixth session, including the report of the Subcommittee of the Whole on International Protection 30/ and of the Subcommittee on Administrative and Financial Matters, 31/ and bearing in mind the report of the Working Group on Executive Committee working methods, 32/

In line with Executive Committee working methods, the Standing Committee undertook the selection of the annual theme for the fiftieth session of the Executive Committee during its two sessions in February and June, adopting the theme of " Strengthening Partnership to Ensure Protection, also in Relation to Security " .
