1. Calls upon the Government of Cuba once again to ensure respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms and to provide the appropriate framework to guarantee the rule of law through democratic institutions and the independence of the judicial system;
1- تدعو حكومة كوبا مرة أخرى إلى ضمان احترام حقوق الإنسان والحريات الأساسية، وتوفير الإطار المناسب لضمان سيادة القانون عن طريق المؤسسات الديمقراطية واستقلال النظام القضائي؛

Cuba once again declared its full support of the inherent right of the Palestinian people to an independent, sovereign State with a capital in East Jerusalem. It demanded the unconditional return of all Israeli-occupied Arab territories and again declared the illegality of all Israeli settlements on Arab territories occupied since 1967.
وتعلن كوبا مرة أخرى دعمها الكامل للحقوق الأساسية للشعب الفلسطيني لإنشاء دولة مستقلة وذات سيادة عاصمتها القدس الشرقية وتطالب بإعادة جميع الأراضي العربية التي تحتلها إسرائيل، وتعلن مرة أخرى عدم شرعية المستوطنات الإسرائيلية في الأراضي العربية المحتلة منذ عام 1967.

In the light of this unfortunate situation, the Government of Cuba once again draws the international community's attention to the effects on the Cuban people of the continued application of this policy over nearly four decades and of new attempts to strengthen and expand its territorial application by means of the Helms-Burton Act and other related initiatives.
٥ - وفي ضوء هذه الحقائق المؤسفة، توجه حكومة كوبا مرة أخرى أنظار المجتمع الدولي إلى اﻵثار المترتبة بالنسبة للشعب الكوبي على الاستمرار في تطبيق هذه السياسة على مدى أربعة عقود تقريبا، وكذلك من جـراء المحـاولات الجديـدة ﻹحكامهـا وتوسيـع النطـاق اﻹقليمـي لتطبيقهـا مـن خــلال قانــون هيلمز - بيرتون وغيره من المبادرات ذات الصلة.

Thus, speaking in the most democratic body of the United Nations, Cuba once again denounced the long history of terrorist actions perpetrated against our country from the territory of the United States and the long list of terrorist acts and actions perpetrated against our country since 1959, which the United States has always tried to cover up.
وعلى هذا النحو سردت كوبا مرة أخرى أمام أكثر أجهزة الأمم المتحدة ديمقراطية التاريخ الطويل للأعمال الإرهابية التي ارتكبت ضد بلدنا انطلاقا من إقليم الولايات المتحدة والقائمة الطويلة للأعمال والعمليات الإرهابية التي ارتكبت ضد بلدنا منذ عام 1959 ، والتي تعمل الولايات المتحدة دائما على إسدال ستار من الصمت عليها.

وتؤكد كوبا مجددا أنها لا تملك أي أسلحة من أسلحة الدمار الشامل وليس لها نية امتلاكها، وأن حيازة تلك الأسلحة لا تشكل أحد عناصر استراتيجية الدفاع الوطني التي تتبعها.

Cuba once again denounces the placement, against the will of the Cuban people and Government, of a United States naval base on the Cuban territory of Guantánamo, over which portion the Cuban State does not exercise the jurisdiction pertaining to it.
وتدين كوبا مجددا إنشاء قاعدة بحرية للولايات المتحدة، ضد إرادة شعب كوبا وحكومتها، على الأرض الكوبية في غوانتانامو، التي لا تمارس عليها الدولة الكوبية الولاية القضائية التي تعود لها.

Cuba once again condemned that aggressive practice, which was in violation of international legal norms and the provisions of the Charter of the United Nations, and reaffirmed its readiness to continue work to eliminate the existing imbalances in the dissemination of information.
لذلك فإن كوبا تدين مرة أخرى هذه الممارسة العدوانية، لكونها تشكل انتهاكا لقواعد القانون الدولي وأحكام ميثاق اﻷمم المتحدة، وتؤكد كوبا من جديد استعدادها لمواصلة العمل من أجل القضاء على حالات الاختلال القائمة في مجال نشر المعلومات.
