The Committee will continue to encourage Member States to become parties as soon as possible to the relevant international conventions and protocols relating to terrorism, contained in paragraph 3 (d) of Security Council resolution 1373 (2001) and paragraph 2 (a) of the Declaration annexed to Council resolution 1456 (2003), and to incorporate their provisions in domestic legislation.

Mr. Chávez (Peru), introducing the draft resolution on behalf of the original sponsors and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Cyprus, the Dominican Republic, Finland, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland, said that the Declaration annexed to the draft resolution sought to establish a new relationship between States and indigenous peoples.

2. By a note verbale dated 28 January 2010, the Secretary-General drew the attention of all States to General Assembly resolution 49/60 and the Declaration annexed thereto and requested them to submit, by 31 May 2010, information on the implementation of paragraph 10 (a) of the Declaration.
2 - وبموجب مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 28 كانون الثاني/يناير 2010 استرعى الأمين العام انتباه جميع الدول إلى قرار الجمعية العامة 49/60، وإلى الإعلان المرفق به، طالبا منها بحلول 31 أيار/مايو 2010 تقديم معلومات بشأن تنفيذ الفقرة 10 (أ) من الإعلان.

78. At the same meeting, the Commission adopted draft resolution E/CN.6/2010/L.1 and decided that the Declaration annexed thereto should be transmitted to the General Assembly for endorsement, through the Economic and Social Council (see chap. I, sect. D, resolution 54/1, and sect. D, draft decision).
78 - وفي الجلسة نفسها، اعتمدت اللجنة مشروع القرار E/CN.6/2010/L.1، وقررت أن يُحال الإعلان المرفق به إلى الجمعية العامة من خلال المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، لتأييده. (انظر الفصل الأول، الفرع دال، القرار 54/1، والفرع دال، مشروع المقرر).
