The purpose of the present note is to assist potential participants in the second session of the Preparatory Committee for the Development of a Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) in preparing for the session.
1 - الغرض من هذه المذكرة هو مساعدة أولئك الذين يحتمل أن يشاركوا في الدورة الثانية للجنة التحضيرية لتطوير نهج استراتيجي للإدارة الدولية للمواد الكيميائية، في التحضير لهذه الدورة.

The representative of the secretariat noted that no formal rules of procedure were in place for the current meeting and proposed that the Working Group might wish to agree to use the rules of procedure of the Preparatory Committee for the Development of a Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management, mutatis mutandis, to govern the conduct of its work.
4 - لاحظ ممثل الأمانة أنّه لا وجود لنظام داخلي رسمي للاجتماع الحالي، وأشار إلى أنّ الفريق العامل ربما يودّ أن يتّفق على استخدام النظام الداخلي للجنة التحضيرية المعنية بوضع النهج الاستراتيجي للإدارة الدولية للمواد الكيميائية، مع إجراء ما يلزم من التعديلات، من أجل تسيير أعماله.

First, on 19 September 2005, during the third session of the Preparatory Committee for the Development of a Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management, the Secretariat sponsored a workshop for the Strategic Approach in an endeavour to share with participants at that meeting the experience of the Vienna Convention and the broader ozone regime.
