Here, I would like to stress that attempts to initiate formal or informal discussions in the Security Council on situations that do not constitute a threat to international peace and security are contrary to the letter and the spirit of the Charter.
وهنا أود أن أؤكد على أن المحاولات التي تُبذل للشروع في مناقشات رسمية أو غير رسمية في مجلس الأمن بشأن حالات لا تُشكّل تهديدا للسلام والأمن الدوليين، تناقض نص وروح الميثاق.

In view of the above-mentioned considerations, the Non-Aligned Movement reiterates that the decision by the Security Council to initiate formal or informal discussions on the situation in any Member State of the United Nations on any issue, such as human rights, that does not constitute a threat to international peace and security is contrary to Article 24 of the Charter.
وفي ضوء الاعتبارات سالفة الذكر، تؤكد حركة عدم الانحياز من جديد على أن قرار مجلس الأمن بالشروع في إجراء مناقشات رسمية أو غير رسمية حول الحالة في أي دولة عضو بالأمم المتحدة بشأن أي قضية لا تشكل تهديدا للسلم والأمن الدوليين، مثل حقوق الإنسان، يعد أمرا يتناقض مع المادة 24 من الميثاق.

In that regard, we fully share the view expressed by the Non-Aligned Movement that the decision by the Security Council to initiate formal or informal discussions on the situation of any Member State or any issue that does not constitute a threat to international peace and security is contrary to Article 24 of the Charter.
