Under the terms of article 72, paragraph 8, of the Convention, the members of the Committee shall receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as the General Assembly may decide.
وبمقتى أحكام الفقرة ٨ من المادة ٧٢ من الاتفاقية، يحصل أعضاء اللجنة على مكافآت من موارد اﻷمم المتحدة وفقا للشروط واﻷحكام التي قد تقررها الجمعية العامة.

9. As indicated in paragraph 4 above, funding from United Nations resources will be required to support the expert during the course of the study.

5. With the approval of the General Assembly, the members of the Committee shall receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as the Assembly may decide in the light of the importance of the functions of the Committee.
٥- يتلقى أعضاء اللجنة، بموافقة الجمعية العامة، مهايا من موارد اﻷمم المتحدة وفقاً لﻷحكام والشروط التي قد تقررها الجمعية العامة على ضوء أهمية مهام اللجنة.

50. The General Assembly, however, by its resolution 47/111 of 16 December 1992, welcomed amendments to the treaties monitored by the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and the Committee against Torture by which members of those Committees should thenceforth receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as might be decided by the Assembly.
٠٥ - إلا أن الجمعية العامة رحبت في قرارها ٤٧/١١١ المؤرخ ١٦ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٢ بإدخال تعديلات على المعاهدات التي تراقبها لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري ولجنة مناهضة التعذيب بحيث بات ﻷعضاء هاتين اللجنتين أن يتلقوا بموجبها من اﻵن مكافآت من موارد اﻷمم المتحدة بالشروط واﻷحوال التي قد تقررها الجمعية العامة.

Recalling the decision of 9 September 1992 of the States parties to the Convention to delete paragraph 7 of article 17 and paragraph 5 of article 18 of the Convention and to add a new paragraph as paragraph 4 of article 18, stating that the members of the Committee established under the Convention shall henceforth receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms as the General Assembly will decide,
وإذ تشير الى قرار الدول اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية المؤرخ في ٩ أيلول/سبتمبر ٢٩٩١ والقاضي بحذف الفقرة ٧ من المادة ٧١ والفقرة ٥ من المادة ٨١ من الاتفاقية وبإضافة فقرة جديدة تصبح هي الفقرة ٤ من المادة ٨١ وتنص على أن يتقاضى أعضاء اللجنة المنشأة بموجب الاتفاقية من اﻵن فصاعدا مكافآت من موارد اﻷمم المتحدة ، وفقا لﻷحكام والشروط التي تقررها الجمعية العامة ،

15. However, it may be noted that the General Assembly, by its resolution 47/111 of 16 December 1992, endorsed amendments to the treaties monitored by the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and the Committee against Torture by which members of those Committees should henceforth receive emoluments from United Nations resources on such terms and conditions as might be decided by the Assembly.
١٥ - وقد يجدر بالذكر، مع هذا، أن الجمعية العامة قد قامت، بموجب قرارها ٤٧/١١١ المؤرخ ١٦ كانون اﻷول/ ديسمبر ١٩٩٢، باعتماد تعديلات المعاهدات التي ترصدها لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري ولجنة مناهضة التعذيب، والتي تقضي أن يحصل أعضاء هاتين اللجنتين من اﻵن فصاعدا على مكافآت من موارد اﻷمم المتحدة في إطار ما تقرره الجمعية العامة من أحكام وشروط.
