It provides that the initial functions of the Enterprise shall be undertaken by the Secretariat of the Authority.
وينص على أن تؤدي أمانة السلطة وظائف المؤسسة في المرحلة اﻷولى.

1. The Secretariat of the Authority shall perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat.
١ - تؤدي أمانة السلطة وظائف المؤسسة الى أن تبدأ العمل مستقلة عن اﻷمانة.

It should be recalled that, under the provisions of paragraph 1 of section 2 of the Agreement, the Secretariat of the Authority is also expected to perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat.
وجدير بالذكر أن أمانة السلطة، وفقا ﻷحكام الفقرة ١ من الفرع ٢ من الاتفاق، سوف تؤدي أيضا وظائف المؤسسة إلى أن تبدأ العمل مستقلة عن اﻷمانة.

It will also be recalled that in accordance with paragraph 1 of section 2 of the Annex to the Agreement, the Secretariat of the Authority is also expected to provide services to facilitate the performance of the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat.

The Secretariat of the Authority shall perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat of the Authority (refer to sect. 2, para. 1, of the annex to the Agreement).

39. It should be recalled that, as mentioned in paragraph 28 above, according to section 2, paragraph 1, of the annex to the Agreement, the Secretariat of the Authority shall perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat of the Authority.
٣٩ - ومما يذكر، كما جاء في الفقرة ٢٨ أعلاه، أن الفقرة ١ من الفرع ٢ من مرفق الاتفاق تنص على أن تؤدي أمانة السلطة وظائف المؤسسة الى أن تبدأ العمل مستقلة عن أمانة السلطة.

7. The provisions of the Convention relating to the Enterprise were radically affected by section 2 of the annex to the 1994 Agreement, according to which the functions of the Enterprise are to be performed by the secretariat of the Authority until such time as it begins to operate independently of the secretariat.
7 - وقد نجم عن الفرع 2 من مرفق اتفاق عام 1994، الذي ينص على أن تمارس أمانةُ السلطة وظائف المؤسسة إلى حين بدء المؤسسة عملها بصورة مستقلة عن الأمانة، أثر جذري على أحكام الاتفاقية ذات الصلة بالمؤسسة.

8. Section 2 of the annex to the 1994 Agreement provides that, until it begins to operate independently, the functions of the Enterprise are to be performed by the secretariat.
8 - ينص الفرع 2 من مرفق اتفاق عام 1994 على أن تمارس الأمانة وظائف المؤسسة إلى حين بدء المؤسسة عملها بصورة مستقلة عن الأمانة.

4. In accordance with the provisions of article 170 of the UNCLOS and paragraph 1 of section 2 of the annex to the 1994 Agreement, the secretariat of the ISA shall perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the secretariat.
4 - وفقا لأحكام المادة 170 من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار والفقرة 1 من الفرع 2 من مرفق اتفاق عام 1994، تؤدي أمانة السلطة وظائف المؤسسة إلى أن تبدأ العمل مستقلة عن الأمانة.

34. According to section 2, paragraph 1, of the annex to the Agreement, the Secretariat of the Authority shall perform the functions of the Enterprise until it begins to operate independently of the Secretariat of the Authority; the Secretary-General of the Authority shall appoint an interim Director-General of the Enterprise to oversee the performance of these functions.
٣٤ - ووفقا للفقرة ١ من الفرع ٢ من مرفق الاتفاق، تؤدي أمانة السلطة وظائف المؤسسة الى أن تبدأ العمل مستقلة عن أمانة السلطة. ويعين اﻷمين العام للسلطة من بين موظفي السلطة مديرا عاما مؤقتا لﻹشراف على أداء اﻷمانة لهذه الوظائف.

In addition, Nautilus agrees to underwrite the costs incurred by the Enterprise (or the secretariat performing the functions of the Enterprise) through an annual fee to be paid to and administered by the Authority for this purpose.
