26. Kenya, The Global Judges Symposium held in 2002 highlighted the role of the judiciary in safeguarding the rRule of lLaw and gGovernance in the area of environment and sustainable development, and their role in the development, interpretation and enforcement of environmental law.
26 - وأبرزت ندوة القضاة العالمية التي عقدت في 2002 دور القضاة في صيانة حكم القانون وحسن تسيير الأمور في مجال البيئة والتنمية المستدامة ودورهم في وضع وتفسير وإنفاذ القانون البيئي.

(b) UNEP launched the gGlobal jJudges pProgramme, including the 2002 Global Judges Symposium, which adopted the Johannesburg Principles on the Role of Law and Sustainable Development.
