We welcome the decision of the Human Rights Council to establish a high-level fact-finding mission to assess the situation from the perspective of that Council.

190. At the 15th meeting, on 18 September, Archbishop Desmond Tutu made a statement on the report of the high-level fact-finding mission to Beit Hanoun (A/HRC/9/26), as requested by the Council in its resolution S-3/1.
