Of particular interest to the Government of Nicaragua are the human and labour rights of migrant workers, a social issue that is also facing various other countries of the world.

A group of non-governmental organizations recommended that the Consultative Process consider the human and labour rights of those employed in the fishing and maritime sectors (see also paras. 68 and 69 below).
