8. The Commission on Human Rights, in its resolution 1999/78, requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize an international seminar of experts on the remedies available to victims of acts of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and on good national practices in this field.

At its fifty-second session, the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights adopted, on 17 August 2000, resolution 2000/9 in which it requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize an expert meeting on a draft optional protocol to the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and to submit the report of this meeting to it at its fifty-third session.
1- اعتمدت اللجنة الفرعية لتعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان، في دورتها الثانية والخمسين، في 17 آب/أغسطس 2000 القرار 2000/9 الذي طلبت فيه إلى مفوضة الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تنظم اجتماع خبراء بشأن مشروع بروتوكول اختياري للعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية وأن تقدم إليها تقرير هذا الاجتماع في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين.

2. Requests the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize the panel discussion and to liaise with States, relevant United Nations bodies, agencies, treaty bodies, special procedures and regional human rights mechanisms, as well as with civil society, including non-governmental organizations, and national human rights institutions, with a view to ensuring their participation in the panel discussion;
2- يطلب إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تنظم حلقة النقاش، وأن تنسق مع الدول وهيئات الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها ذات الصلة ومع هيئات المعاهدات والإجراءات الخاصة والآليات الإقليمية لحقوق الإنسان، فضلاً عن المجتمع المدني، بما فيه المنظمات غير الحكومية، ومع المؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان، بهدف تأمين مشاركة هذه الجهات في حلقة النقاش؛

Requests the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize, in Geneva, an intersessional public consultation on the promotion and protection of the human rights of older persons, with the participation of States Members of the United Nations, relevant international organizations, United Nations agencies and stakeholders, in order to receive information and share good practices on the matter;
9- يطلب إلى مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن تنظم في جنيف مشاورة عامة فاصلة بين دورتين تتناول تعزيز وحماية حقوق الإنسان للمسنّين، بمشاركة الدول الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية ذات الصلة ووكالات الأمم المتحدة والجهات المعنية، من أجل تلقي المعلومات وتبادل الممارسات الجيدة في هذا الشأن؛

2. Requests the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize the panel discussion within existing resources, and to liaise with the independent expert on minority issues, States, relevant United Nations bodies and agencies, as well as with civil society, non-governmental organizations and national human rights institutions with a view to ensuring their participation in the panel discussion;

The present report is submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 21/13, in which the Council requested the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize " a panel discussion on the issue of the negative impact of corruption on the enjoyment of human rights " at its twenty-second session and to " prepare and submit a summary report on the panel discussion " at its twenty-third session.

1. In paragraph 65 (b) of its resolution 1999/78, the Commission on Human Rights requested the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize an international seminar of experts on the remedies available to the victims of acts of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and on good national practices in that field.
1- طلبت لجنة حقوق الإنسان في الفقرة 65 (ب) من قرارها 1999/78 إلى المفوضة السامية لحقوق الإنسان تنظيم حلقة دراسية دولية للخبراء حول سبل التظلم المتاحة لضحايا أعمال العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب والتعصب المتصل بذلك وحول أحسن الممارسات الوطنية في هذا الميدان.

49. Welcomes the plan of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize an international seminar on the issue of trafficking in persons, migrants and human rights, and urges her to hold the seminar immediately prior to the twentysixth session of the Working Group and to invite the participation of members of the Working Group and nongovernmental organizations attending the Working Group;
49- ترحب باعتزام المفوضة السامية لحقوق الإنسان تنظيم حلقة دراسية دولية بشأن مسائل الاتجار بالأشخاص، والمهاجرين، وحقوق الإنسان، وتحثها على عقد هذه الحلقة الدراسية مباشرة قبل انعقاد الدورة السادسة والعشرين للفريق العامل، وأن تدعو أعضاء الفريق العامل والمنظمات غير الحكومية التي ستحضر دورة الفريق العامل إلى المشاركة فيها؛

(b) To request the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize the panel, within existing resources, with the participation of the High Commissioner, the Special Rapporteur on trafficking in persons, especially women and children, and the victims of trafficking in persons.

179. The Working Group recommended that the Sub-Commission request the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights to organize, not later than June 2000, a seminar on treaties, agreements and other legal instruments between indigenous peoples and States, to discuss possible follow-up to the study completed by the Special Rapporteur, and to explore ways and means of implementing the recommendations included in his final report.
179- وأوصى الفريق العامل بأن تطلب اللجنة الفرعية من مكتب المفوضة، السامية لحقوق الإنسان أن ينظم في موعد لا يتجاوز شهر حزيران/يونيه عام 2000، حلقة دراسية عن المعاهدات والاتفاقات وغيرها من الصكوك القانونية بين الشعوب الأصلية والدول، وذلك لبحث المتابعة الممكنة للدراسة التي أتمها المقرر الخاص، ولتقصي السبل والوسائل الكفيلة بتنفيذ التوصيات الواردة في تقريره النهائي.

503. It recalled its previous recommendation to the Preparatory Committee for the World Conference on Human Rights to organize the agenda of the Conference in such a way as to ensure that the rights of the child would be given due emphasis.
٥٠٣ - وأشارت الى توصيتها السابقة المقدمة الى اللجنة التحضيرية للمؤتمر العالمي لحقوق اﻹنسان بتنظيم جدول أعمال المؤتمر بطريقة تضمن إيلاء حقوق الطفل الاهتمام الواجب.
