15 - وعلق بعض الوفود على أعمال لجنة حدود الجرف القاري، المنشأة بموجب الفقرة 8 من المادة 76، والمرفق الثاني من اتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار، للنظر في البيانات والمعلومات التي تقدمها الدول الساحلية حيث تتجاوز هذه الحدود 200 ميل بحري.

The Commission concluded that the establishment of the marine protected area would be without prejudice to the outcome of the process before the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf and would be subject to review, if appropriate, once the outer limits of the extended continental shelf was established in accordance with article 76 and Annex II of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
