The Committee welcomes the significant efforts of the State party to combat trafficking of children for the purposes of forced labour and commercial sexual exploitation, in particular, the adoption of the National Plan of Action against Trafficking and Smuggling of Persons on 11 July 2008 and the specific anti-trafficking training provided to the Armed Forces deployed in international peacekeeping operations.
