The Advisory Committee, nevertheless, reiterates its request made in paragraph 19 of its previous report (A/50/694) that the Secretary-General reconsider the practice of using provisions for general temporary assistance to finance positions in peacekeeping budgets that are actually temporary posts, such as those in the budget of UNIFIL.
١٩ - ومع ذلك، تكرر اللجنة الاستشارية الطلب الذي وجهته إلى اﻷمين العام في الفقرة ١٩ من تقريرها السابق )A/50/694( بأن يعيد النظر في ممارسة استخدام الاعتمادات المخصصة للمساعدة المؤقتة العامة لتمويل وظائف في ميزانيات حفظ السلام تكون في الواقع وظائف مؤقتة، كالوظائف المدرجة في ميزانية قوة اﻷمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان.

It is recalled that the Advisory Committee, in its report of 12 March 1996 (A/50/694/Add.1), reiterated its request to the Secretary-General to reconsider the practice of using provisions for general temporary assistance to finance positions in peacekeeping budgets that were actually temporary posts, like those in the budget of UNIFIL.
١٤- ومن الجدير بالذكر أن اللجنة الاستشارية قد كررت، فــي تقريرهــا المؤرخ ١٢ آذار/ مارس ١٩٩٦ A/50/694/Add.1)(، مطالبة اﻷمين العام بأن يعيد النظر في ممارسة استخدام الاعتمادات المتصلة بالمساعدة المؤقتة العامة في تمويل المناصب الواردة في ميزانيات حفظ السلام والمشغولة حاليا بوظائف مؤقتة، من قبيل المناصب الواردة في ميزانية القوة.
