Today, we are going to adopt the annual draft resolution reaffirming the strong support of the General Assembly for the indispensable role of the IAEA in " encouraging and assisting the development and practical application of atomic energy for peaceful uses, in technology transfer to developing countries and in nuclear safety, verification and security " (A/63/L.6, para. 3).
